Elliott Sharp & Tim Motzer - Cosmic Dusts
Cosmic Dusts
Elliott Sharp and Tim Motzer’s first improvised collaboration was recorded in August 2025 in NYC at Elliot’s Studio zOaR.
Elliott Sharp is known as a pioneering guitarist, composer, improviser of the 80’s downtown NYC scene and for his prolific avant garde and multiple-genre explorations including Carbon, his blues band Terraplane, string quartets, operas and the diverse releases on his own zOaR label.
Tim Motzer, also a genre-bending guitarist, improviser, and producer has worked with David Sylvian, Jaki Liebezeit, Ursula Rucker, Percy Jones, among others. His many solo and collaborative works reside on his 1k Recordings label.
