We’re thrilled to announce the release of Chronicle (DiN89), a previously unreleased live album from ARC, the dynamic duo of DiN label boss Ian Boddy and the late Mark Shreeve. Recorded at their 2007 E-Live concert in the Netherlands, this album fills a gap in their discography and is a powerful reminder of ARC’s live intensity. The concert features tracks from their album Fracture (DiN28), with ambient interludes linking each piece and Shreeve’s Moog modular synth underpinning the signature Berlin School sound. Known for its organic life, the Moog creates evolving rhythms that range from subtle pulses to roaring crescendos. Layered with atmospheric effects, rich chords, and Boddy’s searing solos, the concert builds to the epic 22-minute “Rapture,” which begins with drifting tones, building to an unforgettable climax. Chronicle stands as a tribute to ARC’s legacy and to Mark Shreeve’s enduring impact on electronic music.
