Marco Mattei was born in Civitavecchia, Italy. Very passionate about music from an early age. As a teenager he studied jazz guitar w/Max Rosati while developing a deep interest in the creative vision & complexity of prog rock music. He joined DeBlaise, a prog local band, contributing to the songwriting of their EP & many years of live music. His debut album Out of Control features Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Jerry Marotta, and Chad Wackerman.
